the thing about growing up ugly is that i’m honestly very shocked when men are kind to me or notice me? like one time i was sitting eating lunch with my cousin at this small jamaican spot and this dude randomly bought us ginger beers and i was super surprised and thank him enthusiastically and was really grateful and my cousin said thanks but there was this air about it. like she wasn’t surprised. like she expected it. the experience for me was completely different. and the wild thing was he just went back to his seat and went back to eating his food, like it was genuinely just a kind gesture. but even to this day i think about that exchange, about my intense gratitude and her apathetic acknowledgement. about how being beautiful all her life meant she was used to things being bought for her, given to her, offered to her by men and for me it was a shock to even be seen, let alone treated. especially for no reason other than i was attractive and a woman.
I did the math and if the Krusty Krab closes at Six and Spongebob always arrives at work at 3 am to count the sesame seeds, and if he comes in every day except Sunday and works at a rate of 8.50 an hour, with a paycheck every two weeks, Spongebob makes $1,326 every paycheck which seems feasible given the Krusty Krabs revenue. So that explains why Spongebob owns his own house still, has a massive library and all kinds of extremities like damn no wonder he can keep affording boating school
I was ringing up a white couples burrito bowls the other day at Chipotle. Their total was $17.38.
I looked at the guy, and asked, “Is this your trap queen?” with a straight face.
He looked confused as hell, They then looked at the total. They started dying for like 3 - 4 minutes possibly while everybody in line looked confused as fuck.

I work at Chipotle and I know for a fact that this is bullshit lmao. The closest your total will be to that is $17.48. I know that for a fact because people always say how it’s only 10 cents off from 1738

15.80 + 10% = ….?
